[..YouTube..] If you want to say conservatives aren’t conservative, then IMO you’d do better to point out how quick many are to want to amend the constitution, a radical move. A conservative can argue that it’s to help preserve current society, but they also preach small government & promote the bill of rights as restraining government…yet their amendments are about making the government trump individual liberty (flag burning, gay marriage, etc). But I also agree that US liberals are NOT about liberty.

I don’t have a problem with law abiding citizens having ANY firearm available.

Are you saying that fully automatic rifles are still being manufactured for civilian retail sale?
